The Health Visitor Team attached to the surgery consists of: Neil Pilkington BSc(Hons) Public Health, Specialist Practitioner in Public Health, Registered Health Visitor, Diploma in Nursing, Registered Nurse, (Adult) Nurse Prescriber - Health Visitor. Liz Day BA(Hons) Primary and Community Care, Specialist Practitioner in Public Health, Registered Health Visitor, Diploma in Nursing, Registered Nurse (Adult) Nurse Prescriber - Health Visitor Kay Henry RGN,ENB 998(Teaching and Assessing), ENB 241 (Elderly Care), ENB 219 (Registered nurse specialist Orthopaedics) Lisa Smith CeMAP(Finance) - Support Worker All Health Visitors have to be trained nurses before they can specialise as a Health Visitor. The main focus of the team is families with children under 5 years of age, but we are also available to provide a wide variety of advice and support to all patients registered at Hawthorn Medical Practice.
