The District Nursing Team co-ordinatior and manager is Claire Thornalley. She is responsible for a team of community staff nurses, enrolled nurses and health care support workers. This team of dedicated, skilled nurses provide high quality nursing care 7 days a week.

The team provide a diverse variety of nursing services which includes:

• Health Promotion
• Wound and Leg Ulcer Care
• Continence Care and Advice
• Palliative and Cancer Care
• Pain and Symptom Control - in conjunction with local GP’s
• Bereavement and Family Support
• Complex Wound Care
• Total Holistic Care of the Patient and Carers At Home
