Welcome to the Hawthorn Medical Practice.

Have you received your letter inviting your for a Flu Jab? If you are on our list as being eligible for one and have not yet received your invitation, you very soon will be. Please respond as soon as possible and come and get yourself protected.

We have been promised that there are no problems with the manufacture or delivery of the vaccines. We are expecting our first delivery by the end of this week 3rd October. We will be starting our clinics the next week.

We aim to provide you the patient with the best care possible. We do this by having a team-based approach to healthcare which involves all staff at the surgery as well as our attached group of District Nurses and Health Visitors.

We are based on two sites, one in Skegness and the other in the nearby village of Burgh-Le-Marsh.

Prior to October 2003 the practice was known as Algitha Lodge Surgery and was situated in the centre of town, where it had been for over 40 years. The change of name coincided with the move to our brand new, purpose built surgery located on the edge of the town.

We have ample parking and the building is friendly towards those of our patients who have a disability. We are co-located with both our attached District Nurses and Health Visitors. Also on site is a fully independent pharmacy which is owned and operated by Rowlands Pharmacies.
