HAWTHORN MEDICAL PRACTICE

Welcome to the Hawthorn Medical Practice.

We aim to provide you the patient with the best care possible. We do this by having a team-based approach to healthcare which involves all staff at the surgery as well as our attached group of District Nurses and Health Visitors.

We are based on two sites, one in Skegness and the other in the nearby village of Burgh-Le-Marsh.

Prior to October 2003 the practice was known as Algitha Lodge Surgery and was situated in the centre of town, where it had been for over 40 years. The change of name coincided with the move to our brand new, purpose built surgery located on the edge of the town.

We have ample parking and the building is friendly towards those of our patients who have a disability. We are co-located with both our attached District Nurses and Health Visitors. Also on site is a fully independent pharmacy which is owned and operated by Rowlands Pharmacies.

HAWTHORN MEDICAL PRACTICE - PATIENT PARTICIPATION GROUP

We are in the process of setting up a Patient Participation Group, to enable us to gain our patients views and opinions on planned service changes. This is a voluntary group and patients can choose to be part of an e-mail only consultation group and/ or attend regular meetings. If you are interested in getting involved to help shape medical services in your area, please collect a registration form from the surgery or call us on 01754 896350 ext 400.
